Where is my data stored?＋
By default, entirely in your browser’s IndexedDB. Cloud sync only happens if you paste a Pro API key and explicitly enable it. We never see your memory content.
Do I need an account?＋
A free account is required to download the extension and manage billing / API keys. Once installed, the extension itself works locally without signing in again.
Which browsers are supported?＋
Any Chromium-based browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera. Manifest V3.
Does it work without an OpenAI key?＋
Yes. Free search is keyword-based and fully offline. Pro AI features (semantic search, chat, summaries, merge) run on our servers — no OpenAI key needed.
What gets sent in analytics?＋
A random install ID, the extension version, and event names (memory_saved, search_performed, context_injected). No memory content, no prompts, no conversations — ever.
How does the Pro API key work?＋
After you upgrade, your account dashboard shows a unique API key. Paste it into Loopora → Settings to activate Pro features on that device. You can regenerate the key anytime.
